It’s so cliche to call something a practice, but alas, here we are… a thousand years old, screaming at the youth to practice this and to practice that.
But it’s weird when you go the other way about and go from thinking about it as a personal trait to thinking about it as something that you do.
…and then keep doing.
…and you just keep doing it until it gets easier and easier and comes more and more naturally to you.
That’s radical acceptance and radical honesty.
It’s not something that Jono says enough so you have an epiphany that that’s what you need to do and now you’re fixed forever.
You have to do it… and then do it again.
And, just because you’ve done it before doesn’t mean that you’re all better now. You’re free to go on and be the best version of yourself now.
I can get back to being Lilly again if I practice radical honesty and radical acceptance… deliberately this time. Consciously.
It doesn’t have to just be a switch that gets flipped the right way from the secret key combination and then you can get to that persona.
You can practice your way into it.
That can be your key combo shortcut.
A shorter set of actions to more reliably get there.
By practicing being the person you want to be.
If you liked this article - or if you didn’t like it - you can help this space grow by doing something as simple as reviewing this article on the Reddit post about it.
Once there’s more interaction with the courses and chapters within the community, I’ll switch all the links to the ones that are less… spicy.
Until then, I’m leaving the review links back to the original space because that’s where there’s more people to even see it in the first place.
So, I guess what I’m saying is that when there’s more people who are seeing these lessons on the non-spicy side, we’ll switch to over there.
You can be a darling and help that happen faster by reviewing this article on the Reddit post it came from.
Thanks!
Love you guys,
