This book has the most to say so far today:
“
It seems small, but it's actually helped me out a lot: I've started drinking tea and reading before bed.
I was dealing with a bad bout of insomnia that I couldn't shake. I've always been pretty bad about getting to sleep, but this was worse than usual. My therapist suggested I try a few things, but one that stood out to me was a cup of tea and a book.
The helpfulness was/is multifaceted. I'm falling asleep much more easily is the easy one. I'm also looking forward to bedtime a little more. I'm finally reading a manga I've been meaning to since the first volume was given to me on Christmas.
But maybe the most important is having time to relax with myself (and whichever pets choose to come with me). I've been stuck in a cycle where I'm constantly going, doing, talking, and when I am free, I either crash or try to fill the hole with something, anything to do, even if it's unproductive. But now, I have 30 minutes to sit in silence, read and just stop. And I feel like that's brought me some peace that I've been missing, and proven that it's okay to have peace sometimes. It's a good feeling!

It’s funny how these tiny moments can make such a big difference in people’s lives.
