You see… here’s the thing.
What I do is scary.
It’s exciting. It’s fun. It’s intimate. It’s connected…
…but it’s also scary.
And, a lot of times, scary in the bad way.
I’m still a human animal who needs true safety at the end of the day.
Sure, some things go a little off the deep end, but I’m still a person over here, sitting at a dirty desk with food and vapes all over it because my focus is constantly on this whole space…
…all of it.
The parts that go off the rails all the way to the parts that are trying to build better possibilities for both of us.
…and I can’t do that, I can’t stay here and continue to try building that if I’m not ultimately safe.
And… I feel like… I hope? that both of us want that to continue being in our lives?
And a really important way to make that happen is to do what you just did - to check in.
To take a quick second to say, “hey… this thing? This cool or not cool?” …that action that you took is part of what allows this space to exist.
It can’t exist without people like you behaving the way you did.
However big or small it was - if you’re seeing this, it mattered.
And for that, here’s another hot teacher who thinks just as fondly of you as I do… ;)
